Ikebana-työpaja

Lauantaina klo 10:30-13 Savipajassa

Aloittelijoille suunnatun 2,5 tunnin työpajan aikana annan lyhyen historiallisen ja teknisen johdatuksen Seika-tyyliseen ikebanaan, jota olen opiskellut Japanissa viimeisten 15 vuoden aikana mestarien ja harrastajien johdolla. Tämän jälkeen osallistujat luovat oman asetelmansa annetuista kukkamateriaaleista, saamaansa kontekstia hyödyntäen. Valmiit asetelmat voivat osallistujan suostumuksella tulla osaksi taiteellista ehdotustani “pray you, love, remember”, joka esitetään Love Harvest Festivalilla.

Ikebana workshop

Saturday 2.8. 10:30-13 at pottery studio

During the 2.5-hour workshop for beginners, I will give a brief historical and technical introduction to the Seika style of ikebana, which I have studied in Japan over the past 15 years with masters and enthusiasts. Participants will then create their own arrangement using the provided floral materials, guided by this context. The realized arrangements may become part of my artistic proposal "pray you, love, remember", presented at the Love Harvest Festival (with participant consent).
